Background Information Overview
To begin the class, I had the students share what they thought some of the things they learned yesterday while taking notes.

Ongoing Character Assignment
While we read The Crucible, students will be responsible for completing the Ongoing Character Assignment.

For each character listed, students must include the following information:

1. Physical description.
2. Background of their life.
3. Personality (temperament).
4. Their thoughts/ideas on the witch hunt in Salem.
5. What “role” they play in the story.
6. Are they accused?  Or an accuser?
7. Important quotes (1-2) with page numbers.
