Create a multimedia poster of FOUR slave narratives. Use this website for your research/information gathering:
Slave Narratives
Include the following information for EACH narrative:
1. slave name
2. birth/family facts
3. summary/list of TEN events from their narrative
4. most interesting/powerful aspect of their narrative
5. if and how they made it out of slavery
6. life after slavery
7. TWO quotes
8. TWO illustrations/images/photos
Use today’s class time to find a partner, divide the workload, and start planning your poster.
Students can present their posters on Friday for extra credit.
Homework
Work on gathering the information you need for the group project. We will spend the entire class period on Thursday, 9/10/15, working on the posters.
